Pack up a picnic, chill the fizz and prepare for a concert experience like no other!

Join us in the leafy Queen Elizabeth Oak Field in Historic Hatfield Park for the Battle Proms concert, a summer spectacular with music, fireworks, spitfire, parachutes, cannons and cavalry!

Performed by the New English Concert Orchestra, the musical programme will feature themes from film, TV and musicals alongside much-loved classical favourites. You’ll also be treated to vintage vocals from the Battle Prom Belles, a meticulously choreographed aerial display by the iconic Grace Spitfire, and breath taking displays by the Red Devils Parachute Team, The Worcestershire Cavalry and over 200 live firing cannons.

This unforgettable experience culminates in a jubilant flag-waving sing-along finale with Jerusalem, Rule Brittania, Land of Hope and Glory and more under a sky of dazzling fireworks.

You are welcome to bring picnic chairs, blankets and hampers/cool boxes.

A summer spectacular with sublime vintage & orchestral music plus dramatic Spitfire, parachute, cannon,
cavalry & firework displays, all taking place in the historic Queen Elizabeth Oak Field of Hatfield Park.
The Battle Proms returns for its 24
this annual concert in this historic location on Saturday 19 July 2025.
Programme:
4.30 pm – Gates Open – Unpack your hampers and uncork the champers!
6.15 pm – Historic Cavalry Display – Thrilling mounted skill-at-arms.
6.45 pm – The Red Devils – The Parachute Regiment and British Army’s official display team perform their
spectacular freefall demonstration in the skies above the concert.
7.00 pm – The Battle Proms Belles – Warming up the crowd with toe-tapping vintage vocals and live band!
8.00 pm – The Musical Programme
– Spitfire Air Display – The legendary Grace Spitfire performs a meticulously choreographed display to the
concert’s stirring opening pieces.
– A Classical Celebration – A captivating programme of uplifting and inspiring classical music from the New
English Concert Orchestra.
– 200 Live Cannons – Experience the unique ground-shaking spectacle of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture and
Beethoven’s ‘Battle Symphony’ complete with live cannon fire, muskets and fireworks!
– Traditional Proms Favourites – A jubilant flag-waving sing-along finale with Jerusalem, Rule Britannia, Land
of Hope and Glory and more.
– Spectacular Fireworks – The perfect British summer evening closes with magnificent musical firework
displays!
